1В And it came toВ pass inВ the thirtieth year, inВ the fourth month, on the fifth day ofВ the month, when IВ was among the emigrants byВ the river Khovar, the heavens were opened, and IВ saw visions ofВ God. 16В The appearance ofВ the wheels and their arrangement is like the appearance ofВ topaz, and the likeness ofВ all four is the same; and byВ their appearance and arrangement it seemed as if the wheel was inВ the wheel. The philosopher Karl Jaspers, a psychiatrist by training, published in 1947 a work devoted to an attempt to investigate the visions of the prophets from the point of view of psychopathology; he believes that they should be considered as hallucinations of paranoids prone to schizophrenia, that is, mentally ill with obsessive ideas. According to psychiatrists, the image of wheel rims dotted with «eyes» is a typical symptom of the disease. Many paranoids suffering from persecution mania claim that they constantly feel the gaze of many eyes on themselves  just like Ezekiel).

20 Wherever the spirit wanted to go, they also went; wherever the spirit went, and the wheels rose up along with them, for the spirit of the animals was in the wheels. Stand on your feet, and IВ will speak toВ you. (Ezekiel understood the words В«the voice ofВ the Speaker,В» which means he was speaking inВ aВ language known toВ Ezekiel).

2В And while he was speaking toВ me, the spirit entered into me and set me on my feet, and IВ heard him who was speaking toВ me. (The suggestion began toВ take effect).

3 And he said to me, Son of man! I am sending you to the children of Israel, to the rebellious people who have rebelled against Me; they and their fathers are traitors before me to this very day. (Lord God, that is, persons interested in spreading Judaism, gave Ezekiel instructions on the transformation of Ezekiel’s native society; thanks to these instructions, the local Judaic religion turned into one of the world religions. 5 For you are not sent to the people with an inarticulate speech and an incomprehensible language, but to the house of Israel («The House of Israel» – «the chosen ones»).

6В not toВ many nations with slurred speech and incomprehensible language, whose words you would not understand; yes, if IВ had sent you toВ them, they would have obeyed you; (You can also send toВ the В«unelectedВ»).

7В But the house ofВ Israel will not listen toВ you; for they will not listen toВ me, because the whole house ofВ Israel is with aВ strong forehead and aВ hard heart. (The Israelites have stopped bringing food toВ the priests ofВ Judaism, and they send hypnotized prophets).

8В Behold, IВ have made your face strong against their faces, and your forehead strong against their foreheads. 5 And I have appointed unto thee the years of their iniquity by the number of days: three hundred and ninety days shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel. (390 days – the magic of numbers, for the iniquities of the Israelites).

6 And when you have done this, lie down on your right side a second time, and bear the iniquity of the house of Judah on you for forty days, a day for a year, a day for a year I have appointed for you. (40 days – the magic of numbers, for the iniquities of the Jews).

7В And turn your face and your naked right hand toВ the siege ofВ Jerusalem, and prophesy against it. (The plan ofВ the siege ofВ the city as aВ portent, aВ method ofВ imitative magic).

10В And your food, which you will eat, you will eat byВ the weight ofВ twenty shekels aВ day; from time toВ time you will eat it. (Regulation ofВ food intake).

11В And you shall drink water byВ measure, you shall drink the sixth part ofВ aВ gin; from time toВ time you shall drink like this. (Gin is an ancient Hebrew measure ofВ the volume ofВ liquids, the sixth part ofВ aВ baht is presumably about 3.5В liters).

12В And eat like barley cakes, and bake them inВ their sight on human feces. (Use ofВ human feces as fuel, animal excrement).

1 But you, son of man, take for yourself a sharp knife, take for yourself a barber’s razor, and run it over your head and over your beard, and take for yourself a scale, and divide the hair into parts. (Manipulation of «sacred» hair).

2 And behold, six men were coming from the upper gate facing north, and each had in his hand his destructive instrument, and among them one dressed in linen, who had a scribe’s device on his belt. And they came and stood by the brazen altar. (Punishers are coming).

3 And the glory of the God of Israel came down from the cherub on which it was, to the threshold of the house. And He called a man dressed in linen clothes, who had a scribe’s device on His belt. (The show continues).

They conquered Sumer (Sennaar), Akkad and Assyria and founded their dynasties in the city-states of Canaan. In 1792 BC, Hammurabi ascended the throne in the small Amorite state of Babylon, who later conquered all of Sumer and Akkad. Under the rule of the dynasty of kings founded by the Amorites, a powerful empire of antiquity was created – the Assyrian power. The Hittites (or Hittites) are ancient tribes belonging to the Indo-European group of peoples; according to Biblical history, the Hittites descend from Heth, the son of Canaan (Gen. 15:20; 23:3, etc.). The Hittites appeared on the territory of modern Turkey in the 2nd millennium BC. Their unification into a single kingdom occurred ca. 1740 BC. The highest heyday of the Hittite empire occurred in the XV – XIV centuries BC. The Hittites occupied Syria and conquered Babylon (c. 1595 BC). During the period of the New Hittite Kingdom (1450—1200 BC) there were clashes with the Egyptians. After the battle of Kadesh in 1286, a peace treaty was concluded between the two empires, establishing the southern border of the Hittite empire approximately along the northern border of Palestine. Around 1200 BC, the Hittite empire collapsed under the blows of the «peoples of the sea» (see: Philistines), but the Hittite culture survived in certain areas, including in Northern Syria. 14 And fire came out of the trunk of her branches, devoured her fruits, and there were no strong branches left on her for the ruler’s sceptre. This is a lamentable song, and will remain for crying. (The vine symbolizes the «infidel» people of the Jews).

1 In the seventh year, in the fifth [month], on the tenth day of the month, men from the elders of Israel came to inquire of the LORD and sat down before me. (The elders of Israel at the prophet’s «reception»).

2В And the word ofВ the LORD came toВ me: (Suggestion byВ words).

3 son of man! Speak to the elders of Israel and say to them: Thus saith the LORD God: Have you come to inquire of me? I live, I will not give you an answer, says the Lord God. (Interested persons – secret Jewish priests «broadcast» through the prophet).

4В Do you want toВ sue them, do you want toВ sue, son ofВ man? express toВ them the abominations ofВ their fathers (The judgment, beneficial toВ the Jewish priesthood, consisted inВ declaring that earlier the Israelites and Jews worshipped В«abominationsВ», that is, idols ofВ foreign gods).

5 And say to them, Thus saith the LORD God: On the day that I chose Israel, and lifted up my hand, and swore to the tribe of the house of Jacob, and revealed myself to them in the land of Egypt, and lifted up my hand, and said to them, «I am the LORD your God!» – (Endless references to the Egyptian captivity. 12В IВ also gave them my sabbaths, that they might be aВ sign between me and them, that they might know that IВ am the LORD who sanctifies them. (The Sabbaths serve as aВ kind ofВ omen-foreshadowing).

13В But the house ofВ Israel rebelled against me inВ the wilderness: they did not act according toВ my commandments, and rejected my ordinances, which aВ man would live byВ them, and they violated my sabbaths, and IВ said, IВ will pour out my wrath on them inВ the wilderness toВ destroy them. (The В«chosen onesВ» behaved badly. God, that is, the priest expresses very human qualities, like rage and is ready toВ kill the В«chosenВ» Jews byВ him).

14 But I did it for my name’s sake, so that it would not be blasphemed before the nations in whose eyes I brought them out. (So would the priests, who did not want to hear condemnation and blasphemy from various nations).

15В Even when IВ raised my hand against them inВ the wilderness, IВ swore that IВ would not bring them into the land that IВ had appointed, flowing with milk and honey, the beauty ofВ all lands (God has aВ hand!).

16В Because they rejected my ordinances, and did not walk according toВ my commandments, and broke my sabbaths; for their heart longed for their idols. (The В«Chosen onesВ» constantly violated their obligations).

17В But my eye was sorry toВ destroy them, and IВ did not destroy them inВ the wilderness. (God has an eye-eye!).

18В And IВ said toВ their sons inВ the wilderness, Do not walk according toВ the rules ofВ your fathers, and do not keep their statutes, and do not defile yourself with their idols. (God spoke!).

19В IВ am the LORD your God: do according toВ my commandments, and keep my statutes, and do them. (The statement that the priest is the master-slaveholder over his slaves).

20В And hallow my sabbaths, that they may be aВ sign between me and you, that you may know that IВ am the LORD your God. (The Sabbaths serve as aВ kind ofВ omen-foreshadowing).

21В But my sons also rebelled against me: they did not act according toВ my commandments and did not keep my statutes, they did not do what aВ person would live if they did, they violated my sabbaths, and IВ said: IВ will pour out my anger on them, IВ will exhaust my fury over them inВ the wilderness; (The В«chosen onesВ» constantly violated their obligations).

22 But I turned away my hand and acted for my name’s sake, so that it would not be blasphemed before the nations, before whose eyes I brought them out. (God has a hand!).

23В Also, having lifted up my hand inВ the wilderness, IВ [swore] toВ scatter them among the nations and scatter them over the lands (God has aВ hand!).

24В Because they did not fulfill my decrees and rejected my commandments, and violated my Sabbaths, and their eyes turned toВ the idols ofВ their fathers. (For the zealots ofВ Yahweh, that is, the Jewish priests, it was important not toВ lose their flock. InВ Babylonia, the Jews did not have such aВ unifying religious center as the Jerusalem temple was, the more important the rite had toВ play. 27В Therefore speak toВ the house ofВ Israel, son ofВ man, and say toВ them: Thus saith the LORD God: this is what your fathers blasphemed me with, treacherously acting against me: (These maxims are beneficial toВ the Jewish priestly elite, which acts through its prophet, instilling inВ the elders what is important for the Jewish priestly elite).

28В IВ brought them toВ the land that IВ had sworn toВ give them, lifting up my hand, and they, having looked for every high hill and every branching tree, began toВ kill their sacrifices there, and set up their offending offerings and their fragrant incense there, and poured out their libations there. 29В And IВ said toВ them, What is this height, where do you go? therefore, it is called byВ the name ofВ Bam toВ this day. (Worship ofВ the heights).

30В Therefore tell the house ofВ Israel: Thus saith the LORD God: Do you not defile yourselves after the example ofВ your fathers, and commit fornication after their abominations? (The trick ofВ Judaism was that God is invisible, but he speaks through his prophets, that is, people who are under the hypnotic influence ofВ the top ofВ the Jewish priesthood).

31В When you bring your gifts and lead your sons through the fire, you defile yourselves with all your idols toВ this day, and you want toВ question me, house ofВ Israel? He also made prophecies about other peoples: Ammon and Moab, Edom, Tyre and Egypt, predicting them revenge from Yahweh for having treated Israel and Judah badly in the past and gloating about his disasters in the present – for this they will perish, and Israel will be reborn).

33 As I live, saith the LORD God, with a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with an outpouring of wrath, I will rule over you. (But when, after the fall of Jerusalem, the second and third parties of exiles appeared in Babylon, the prophets of Yahweh obviously had to face new tasks. During these years, among the captive Jews in Babylon, there were many who, losing faith not only in the power of Yahweh, but also in the immutability of his love for Israel, began to worship the gods of the land on which they found themselves settled. Ezekiel meant exactly that when he put a stern warning into Yahweh’s mouth to these faint-hearted).

34В And IВ will bring you out ofВ the nations and out ofВ the countries where you are scattered, and IВ will gather you with aВ strong hand and with an outstretched arm and with an outpouring ofВ wrath. (Yahweh can do anything).

35В And IВ will bring you into the wilderness ofВ the nations, and there IВ will judge you face toВ face. (God will judge, that is, the Jewish priests performed judicial functions).

36В As IВ judged your fathers inВ the wilderness ofВ the land ofВ Egypt, so will IВ judge you, says the LORD God. (God will judge, that is, the Jewish priests performed judicial functions).

37В And IВ will lead you under the rod and bring you into the bonds ofВ the covenant. (AВ covenant, that is, an agreement, an alliance, is beneficial toВ the priesthood inВ order toВ influence it inВ the same way inВ the right relation toВ the priesthood).

38В And IВ will single out from among you those who are rebellious and disobedient toВ me. IВ will bring them out ofВ the land ofВ their sojourn, but they will not enter the land ofВ Israel, and you will know that IВ am the Lord. (All rebels will be destroyed, because only submissive and obedient slaves are needed).

39 But you, house of Israel, – thus saith the LORD God, – go each to your idols and serve them, if you do not listen to me, but do not defile my holy name with your gifts and your idols, (Like an offended child, an outcast God refuses to «play» with his «chosen ones», sending them away to other people’s «toys» – idols).

40 For on my holy mountain, on the high mountain of Israel,“ says the LORD God, „all the house of Israel will serve me there, as many as there are on earth; there I will receive them with pleasure, and there I will demand your offerings and your firstfruits with all your holy things. (It is possible to serve «My holy mountain» – Zion, although the so-called god himself forbade worshipping heights, but this is the «right» height, the main thing is to drag offerings and rudiments more often, and that would be without a flaw!).

41В IВ will receive you as aВ fragrant incense when IВ bring you out ofВ the nations and gather you from the countries where you are scattered, and IВ will be hallowed inВ you before the eyes ofВ the nations.
